SOFTWARE INNOVATIONS IN ZIRKONZAHN.MODELLIER


  • The Zirkonzahn.Modellier software, combined with the different software modules, makes nearly everything possible. Above all, you can decide by yourselves how you want to do something: The wizard can guide you step by step through the entire design process or you can proceed individually using the master menu. At any time it is possible to switch between these two options. The software is compatible with intraoral scans, dicom data, 3D facial scans and different reference objects such as the Plaster Plane. It is possible to import, process and export all current data formats. Many useful automatisms (for example detection of the preparation margin, automatic adjustment to the antagonist etc.) support the users during their workflow. The vast libraries (implant systems, attachments, bars, tooth libraries) are continually being expanded (for example rooted teeth in the Heroes Collection). Moreover, our team of dental technicians and developers are working hard to continuously improve the visual and the functional features of the modelling software and to provide updates with new functions.

SOFTWARE INNOVATIONS IN ZIRKONZAHN.NESTING


  • Axis-oriented nesting programme for the ideal positioning of dental restoration data in the milling blank
  • All existing blanks will be saved in one library. This allows, at any time and from an economic point of view, to select the smallest possible blank and to fully benefit from already used blanks
  • Automatic blank registration via webcam – during the registration of the blank, the error potential is minimized because typing errors are excluded. In addition, the quality management is improved, because batch numbers can be tracked
  • Automatic docking – if the restoration is positioned outside the blank, it is automatically repositioned by the software at the ideal place on the brink of the blank
  • Speed calculation – with the option „Speed Calculation“ all work steps can be calculated simultaneously, which gives you the possibility to calculate your work in a very short time
  • Parallel calculation – allows the simultaneous calculation of milling paths of several jobs

IMPLANT PLANNING SOFTWARE ZIRKONZAHN.IMPLANT-PLANNER


  • Compatible with DICOM data of any CT /CBCT device; it is possible to track the trigeminal nerve, plans and panoramic section curves with perpendicular sections can be created and disturbing artefacts can be removed
  • Intuitive-to-use application offering step-by-step guidance
  • Data transfer function for safe, secure, and reliable data exchange between the dentist and dental technician; at crucial stages during the patient case planning, the dentist’s validation is required
  • Two variants: A basic version for the dental treatment provider that includes all the relevant functional tools for implant planning; a full version in modular design for the commercial or in-office laboratory, that can also be used for the manufacture of surgical guides and impression trays
  • Display and management of DICOM data of any type and from any CT/CBCT device

JAWPOSITIONER


  • The missing piece of puzzle for a combination of analog and digital work steps in the production of individualised dentures has been found. With the specially designed JawPositioner resin blank, Zirkonzahn is the only provider who offers the possibility to transfer digitally articulated patient models 1:1 from the virtual articulator into the physical lab articulator within a very short time.

    On the basis of the digital data of the patient case, a positioning pattern for the model of the patient’s maxilla can be milled out of the JawPositioner in less than 10 minutes. After having finished this positioning pattern, it is fixed and correctly positioned in the lab articulator using the PlanePositioner®. Then the maxilla is inserted into it and plastered. Prerequisite is the use of a split-cast system (Splitex®, Adesso Split, KaVo, Quicksplit®, Axiosplit®).

    The physical articulator allows the verification and manual modification of the virtually planned restoration. If modifications have to be made, they can be immediately digitised. As a result, the advantages of digital articulation can be combined with manual workflow. Instead of articulating the plaster models manually, which is more laborious and not as precise, the models are digitised with the S600 ARTI scanner regardless their position in the articulator. Subsequently, with only a few clicks, the models can be articulated into the Zirkonzahn.Scan software. For this purpose, 3D facial scans, realized with the Face Hunter facial scanner or other tools like photos, x-ray images etc., are used.

    Currently, the following methods for the articulation are available: PlaneSystem®, Frankfurter Horizontal, Camper plane, Slavicek or individually at one's own discretion. Thanks to the integration of the JawPostitioner into the workflow, it is now possible to articulate the models in the physical lab articulator in their natural position after milling or 3D-printing them, even if only intraoral scan data of the patient’s case are available.
